When we think about Colombia, it conjures up a lot of romantic warm climate imagery. We think of sugarcane, toffee, and milk chocolates. Even though Colombia ships around 840,000 tonnes of coffee to other countries around the world, coffee is actually not native to Colombia! It's also the second most bio diverse country in the world, and has been reported to be the happiest place on planet earth.
Global warming has seen a significant change across Colombia, bringing challenges to coffee production with earthquakes and landslides becoming quite common, and yet despite that, the commitment to quality remains paramount.
We believe this will have a lasting impression and we're very happy to share it with you in our GreenPE Sugar cane bags!
