Kenya offers a booming tourist industry, they are the world’s largest exporter of Black Tea and can count on horticulture and coffee as solid foundations for foreign export. Kenyan coffee is grown at high altitudes in terroir close to the equator, creating a perfect growing environment.
With wet mills spanning across three counties of what was formally the Central Province in Kenya, Zawadi is a blend created and maintained by our exporter, using carefully selected peaberries primarily from the Kamandi and Ndia-ini coffee factories. Kenyan coffees often have a strong following in the specialty world.
This is due to the complex flavour profile usually consisting of blackcurrant, rhubarb and citrus fruits.
